Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of High school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience in cement or construction
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should show initiative in their work and comfortable with dirty and physical work and uphold integrity and trust in their work
- The candidates should be willing to wear a dust mask throughout the day and available for lots of overtime
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team and with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess the ability to solve basic mechanical problems and fluent in French, both spoken and written
- The candidates should be attentive listeners and respect the priorities established by their supervisor and very good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate concern for safety and behave in an exemplary manner in this regard
- The candidates should be able to identify possible risks related to the task and complete the risk assessment file
- The candidates should be able to comply with Lafarge’s rules regarding health and safety at work
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate accuracy and precision in requested reports, such as the Production sheet for bagging bags
- The candidates should be able to master all the tasks to be performed at the terminal and respect the environmental
- The candidates should be able to master the processes of transporting material to the unloading point
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate efficiency in completing the requested work on time and safely
- The candidates should be able to aware of the annual production capacity of the plant: 140,000 tons for the Crusher and 100,000 tons for the Terminal
- The candidates should be able to aware of the number of employees at the Terminal: between 15 and 25 employees
