Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Grinding machines, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Nail guns
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles and Ear plugs
Credentials: Chainsaw Safety Training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions as necessary, and be able to work in confined spaces as required for certain tasks or projects
- The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines, and tolerating dusty conditions in the workplace
- The candidates should be physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of a physically demanding job, possessing manual dexterity, demonstrating skill and precision in handling tools and equipment

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, and clean and lubricate cranes to ensure smooth operation, enhancing workplace safety
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials as required for construction tasks, and assist heavy equipment operators with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring workflow efficiency
- The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction to ensure accurate placement, and pave and rake asphalt to create smooth surfaces, contributing to project precision and quality
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings, following safety protocols and instructions, and clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or disposal, maintaining site cleanliness and organization
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to safety guidelines and regulations
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment, and direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public, prioritizing safety measures
