Salary: $28.50 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be attentive to detail and be able to perform repetitive tasks

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
