Salary: $28.85 hourly for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Rocky View, AB
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Work setting: Various locations
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence required and willing to travel for extended periods
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should work in steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, pay attention to detail and also perform repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to perform brake adjustment, perform emergency roadside repairs, perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle and also perform preventive maintenance
- The candidate should be able to load and unload goods, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, receive and relay information to central dispatch and also record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
