Rollingdale Winery Inc based in West Kelowna, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Vineyard Worker. Rollingdale Winery Inc can be termed as a family owned farm gate winery. Our company has been certified organic. We are known to continue to both grow grapes, and make our wine organically. Our company is known for organic farming and practices are extremely important to us, to ensure we keep the highest standard within the wine community and on our own land. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Viticulture, Wet/Damp, Dusty, Hot
Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural area, Willing to relocate, Relocation costs covered by employer


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and Safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
  • The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail and work with hand-eye coordination
  • The candidate should have the ability to distinguish between colors
  • The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and in an organized way
  • The candidate should be a team player


  • The candidate should be able to perform tasks such as Grading, Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes, Mixing fertilizer, Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, Shoot positioning, Vertical farming system, Weeding, Fertilize and spray crops and Harvest crops
  • The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidate should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
  • The candidate should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
  • The candidate should be able to write daily basic progress reports
  • The candidate should be able to set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
