Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform 95% of the work while in a standing position, with 75% of this time spent bending, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, and lifting objects up to 45 lbs, utilizing a buddy system thereafter
  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a clean, quiet warehouse environment and handle a routine work pace with an enhanced degree of pressure
  • The candidates should have the flexibility to work various shifts from Sunday to Friday, depending on business

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to welcome delivery trucks and oversee the receiving and unloading of incoming products and compare packing slips with purchase orders to verify shipment accuracy
  • The candidates should be able to sort, count, package, label, and unpack received inventory, inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects and promptly notify the team lead, accurately receive, report, and distribute purchased items
  • The candidates should be able to replenish warehouse shelves and maintain appropriate stock levels, operate pallet jacks and reach trucks for loading and unloading materials, read pick worksheets and verify materials against required specifications
  • The candidates should be able to verify product numbers, lot numbers, and expiry dates and conduct weekly inventory counts to ensure accuracy
  • The candidates should be able to enter data into inventory and logistics software programs, identify and report damaged, lost, or missing merchandise to the team lead immediately
  • The candidates should be able to adjust work orders when materials are short, ensuring compliance with requirements and box, wrap, and pack merchandise following procedures and standards
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations and prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in designated delivery areas
