Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Vehicle and equipment experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, Pallet lifters
Type of industry experience: Food and beverages
Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving
Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control
Credentials: Counterbalanced forklift training, narrow aisle forklift training, and forklift operator certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), and drug test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces, work in dusty environments, and be comfortable working in hot conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments, work in noisy settings, and be comfortable working in wet or damp conditions
- The candidates should be adept at working in fast-paced environments, handling repetitive tasks, and working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should have experience in handling heavy loads, meeting tight deadlines, and possessing physical endurance for demanding tasks
- The candidates should have excellent manual dexterity, keen attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, managing a large workload, and having the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, able to stand for extended periods if required, and capable of lifting varying weights, from 9 kg (20 lbs) to more than 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to build pallets, load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, and operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service, wrap goods, and pack and unpack goods
- The candidates should be able to sort, crate, and stack goods, install, lash, and secure goods, and store cargo and materials
- The candidates should be able to transport and distribute materials and goods, organize and maintain inventory, and operate an electric pallet jack
