Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Welding Techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Plasma arc welding (PAW), Submerged arc welding (SAW)
Area of specialization: Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Shipbuilding and repair, Pressure vessels, Structural construction
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, Butt or seam resistance, welding machine, Gas welding machine

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment and read/interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, as well as brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and maintain/perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
