Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High school
Experience: Candidates should have 2 to 3 years minimum experience in custom fabrication

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team setting and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should preferably have valid CWB tickets and previous experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing
  • The candidates should have a high level of English reading, writing, and comprehension skills and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, company rules, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to fabricate and weld components as specified by layouts, engineered drawings, work order actions, or verbal instructions, ensuring that tolerances are met
  • The candidates should be able to clean the work area and equipment, and grind or chip excess metal from welded products
  • The candidates should be able to inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet quality specifications and complete mechanical installation of bolted assemblies
  • The candidates should be able to read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineered drawings, and work orders
  • The candidates should be able to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services
  • The candidates should be able to complete tasks while adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor
  • The candidates should be able to be available for potential overtime
