Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Master’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of five years progressive management experience including experience in the resident focused care philosophy

Physical Requirements:

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related discipline
  • The candidates should have experience in geriatrics
  • The candidates should have experience using Meditech Payroll and Scheduling
  • The candidates should demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • The candidates should demonstrate knowledge of geriatric and long-term care issues
  • The candidates should demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should lead themselves by having self-awareness, managing their performance and health, developing themselves, and demonstrating character that is in line with Eastern Health’s values of respect, integrity, fairness, organizational connectedness, and excellence
  • The candidates should engage others through fostering development of others, contributing to the creation of a healthy organization, communicating effectively, and building effective teams
  • The candidates should have current registration or licensure in the relevant professional association
