Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and manage a large workload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus, show dependability, and possess efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to select and purchase equipment and supplies, plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, and coordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • The candidates should be able to supervise staff, coordinate contract services, and ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • The candidates should be able to maintain financial records, supervise maintenance and repair services, and coordinate maintenance and repair services
  • The candidates should be able to conduct performance evaluations and appraisals, maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and supervise in-house laundry services
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate in-house laundry services, schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, coordinate dry cleaning and valet services, and respond to complaints of guests
