Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Grade 10
Experience: Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience working in programs for children or through babysitting
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to act as a role model for children and ability to provide general care for children
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of and the ability to acquire and apply knowledge of the fundamentals of child development
- The candidates should have the ability to acquire and apply knowledge of current Early Childhood program practices
- The candidates should have the ability to acquire and apply knowledge of the Early Childhood Act and Regulations
- The candidates should have interpersonal skills and the ability to ensure professional and courteous service
- The candidates should have problem-solving, decision-making, conflict management, and resolution skills
- The candidates should be required to obtain a First Aid Certificate within 6 months of hire and up-to-date vaccinations
