Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Willing to travel, and Public transportation is available
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Experience with special needs children: Autistic children
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be focused on clients, should have efficient interpersonal skills, should have excellent oral communication
- The candidate should be organized, should be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, tend to the emotional well-being of children, take children to and from school and to appointments
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, organize activities such as games and outings for children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children, assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents, prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework
