Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure and also pay attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to identify, label and catalogue items received, prepare and track work orders, prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials, store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area, unpack goods received, route goods to appropriate storage areas, record shortages and reject damaged goods, unpack goods received and also receive payments
  • The candidate should be able to issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, maintain records on inventory control system and also ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment
  • The candidate should be able to access and process information, sell merchandise and also oversee loading and unloading of goods
  • The candidate should be able to operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, maintain internal record-keeping system, maintain records and statistics and also issue receipts and other forms
  • The candidate should be able to prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, pack goods to be shipped, operate cash register, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, explain the type and cost of services offered, receive and log complaints, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease, prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment, maintain sales records for inventory control and also assist in display of merchandise
  • The candidate should be able to clean and maintain office, supply area or warehouse, perform general office duties, determine method of shipment and also arrange for billing for services
  • The candidate should be able to arrange for refunds and credits, answer inquiries and provide information to customers, address customers’ complaints or concerns and also estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • The candidate should be able to receive and log complaints, affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments, provide advice about merchandise, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, order office supplies and maintain inventory and also greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
