Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of office experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of lifting and climbing as some positions may require it
  • The candidates should be prepared for shift work and staggered starting and stopping times for some positions
  • The candidates should be willing to work in various weather conditions as some positions may expose them to such environments
  • The candidates should be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made. Seeking any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The candidates should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and proficient in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • The candidates should have knowledge of aircraft terminology and an aptitude for math
  • The candidates should have an aptitude for accuracy and detail and preference will be given to bilingual candidates when qualifications are equal
  • The candidates should be aware that some positions require licenses, such as Driver’s, MOT and AVOP

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to create tables, graphs, and prepare spreadsheets and merge documents and reports and research data and prepare reports and arrange ground transportation for internal or external customers and taxis and arrange travel and appointments
  • The candidates should be able to edit and proofread, work under pressure and prepare, maintain, validate, input, and update data or files, records, documents and manuals and receive, index, and revise manuals or data and prepare correspondence
  • The candidates should be able to refer external customers to appropriate areas, departments or  employees and assist other employees in the department and direct all incoming calls and provide assistance for outgoing calls, directory assistance and calling card
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with internal or external customers and respond to internal or external customer issues and queries, verbally and in writing and work with minimal or no supervision and design, compose, format, and produce correspondence, reports, and documents using a variety of software applications
  • The candidates should be able to prepare third-party billings and handle cash or cheques and related documentation and process invoices, claims, and expenses and make necessary arrangements for presentations, seminars, training sessions and interviews
  • The candidates should be able to build, update, and maintain schedules and staff rosters and comply with Government Regulations, Company Policies, Collective Agreement, and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to control distribution and maintain Company and technical publications and maintain a high level of accuracy and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and administer Collective Agreements
  • The candidates should be able to operate specific department or Company software programs and develop and maintain schedules
  • The candidates should be able to maintain confidentiality at all times and and develop accurate maintenance and technical records
  • The candidates should be able to audit records and monitor equalization of overtime and perform other related duties which do not affect the nature of the job
