Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should have a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in their work
• The candidates should be comfortable with activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the job

• The candidates should be dependable, and flexible
• The candidates should be able to exercise good judgment, and be reliable

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service
• The candidates should be able to review damage reports and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
• The candidates should be able to clean and maintain workspaces
• The candidates should be able to replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
• The candidates should be able to file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• The candidates should be able to mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• The candidates should be able to hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
• The candidates should be able to remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
• The candidates should be able to apply primers and repaint surfaces
• The candidates should be able to repair or replace interior components
• The candidates should be able to repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
• The candidates should be able to inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
• The candidates should be able to mix paint, blend, and match colors
• The candidates should be able to operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
• The candidates should be able to straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
