Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator, Tillage equipment and Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors, in wet/damp, odorous, dusty, and hot conditions
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops, mix fertilizer, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to tie crops, perform weeding, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, and should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market
