Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Hindi, Urdu, Panjabi
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, in wet or damp conditions, in noisy and dusty environments, and in hot conditions
The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks, capable of handling heavy loads, and able to stand for extended periods, performing bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks
The candidates should also have attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in their work

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be accurate, possess excellent oral communication skills, and have a focus on clients
The candidates should be team players, demonstrating flexibility and dependability in their work

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units, estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, and construct and install prefabricated masonry units
The candidates should be able to build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations, read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required, and work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
The candidates should be able to cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, instruct apprentices, and lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
The candidates should be able to lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks, line or reline furnaces, kilns, boilers, and similar installations using refractory or acid-resistant bricks, refractory concretes, plastic refractories, and other materials, and restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
The candidates should be able to waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
The candidates should be able to operate power vibrators to compact concrete, level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
The candidates should be able to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, estimate costs and materials, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
