Salary: $17.40 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Area of work experience: Cleaning
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, should have excellent oral communication, should have excellent written communication
- The candidate should be flexible, should show initiative, should be organized
- The candidate should be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse and empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems and contact tradespersons for major repairs and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances and supervise other workers and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision
