Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a Building or Architectural Technology Diploma or related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy objects
  • The candidates should have proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs
  • The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when necessary

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a BC Class 5 Driver’s License
  • The candidates should have relevant experience, possess attention to detail, and should have computer expertise
  • The candidates should be innovative, should have project management skills, and should have the ability to obtain and maintain an enhanced RCMP security clearance

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to conduct inspections to identify issues and safety concerns
  • The candidates should be able to respond to maintenance requests from tenants or building occupants
  • The candidates should be able to assist with building renovations and construction projects
  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
