Position: Bus driver
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $225 to $450 weekly (To be negotiated) for 9 to 18 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time
Location: 5875 Campbell Road Montague, PE C0A 1R0
Shifts: Evening, Early Morning
Transportation information: Driver’s abstract, Valid driver’s licence, and Vehicle supplied by employer
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: School bus driver, Tour and charter bus driver, and Buses
Credentials: Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E), Driver’s Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess strong attention to detail in their work and be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting during work hours
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills in their interactions and exhibit excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to changing situations and maintain organization in their work methods and environment
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate buses, school buses, or streetcars to transport passengers
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
