Work setting: Restaurant

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client-focus
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • The candidates should be able to plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to supervise kitchen staff and helpers, clean kitchen and work areas
  • The candidates should be able to recruit and hire staff, organize and manage buffets and banquets, manage kitchen operations
