Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, prioritizing client satisfaction and needs
  • The candidates should be organized, maintaining a systematic approach to tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable, consistently meeting commitments and expectations

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including those for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • The candidates should be able to plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, clean the kitchen and work areas, and organize and manage buffets and banquets
  • The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations
