- The candidates should be able to plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies accordingly
- The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
- The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment necessary for kitchen operations
- The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment for efficient kitchen management
- The candidates should be able to clean the kitchen and work areas thoroughly, following established sanitation procedures
- The candidates should be able to manage kitchen operations, overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals, and ensuring smooth workflow
