Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer
Work setting: Rural area and urban area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety: Criminal record check, bondable, and driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and proficient in handling heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit flexibility
  • The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player, demonstrating dependability and punctuality
  • The candidates should also show initiative

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, demonstrate professionalism in customer service, and receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, follow directions and read maps, and use maps and other trip planning aids
  • The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
