Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Baccalaureate preferably in the field of supply chain, mathematics, statistics and operations research
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the consumer products sector

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work cross-functionally, build relationships and excel in a team environment
  • The candidates should be able to support the SAP master data management team
  • The candidates should be able to make recommendations to the sales support team for customer handling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in forecasting
  • The candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of MRP and SAP principles in a multi-plant environment
  • The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, with intermediate MS Excel skills required and advanced Excel skills being useful. Experience with a forecast modeling tool such as Logility is desired, and SAP experience is also useful
  • The candidates should have the ability to make effective presentations
  • The candidates should be capable of extracting data from SAP, analyzing it, and recommending an appropriate strategy to develop a production plan
  • The candidates should demonstrate great attention to detail and analytical skills
  • The candidates should have the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • The candidates should possess working knowledge of using quantitative methods to analyze situations and solve business problems
  • The candidates should be able to communicate demand forecasting plans and assumptions across the supply chain
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with departments to coordinate short and long-term production plans

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate and maintain sales forecasts for all clients, custody of customer orders and adjust quantities and delivery dates, performance indicators related to production plans and customer service levels
  • The candidates should be able to act as a gatekeeper to customer orders to ensure quick updates in SAP
  • The candidates should be able to partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to develop accurate demand forecasts and participate in weekly S and OP planning reviews
  • The candidates should be able to ensure consistency of forecast assumptions across the business and quality of demand and forecast data
  • The candidates should be able to analyze customer demand against historical data and propose improvements
  • The candidates should be able to establish partnerships to share forecast data with customers, suppliers and statistical forecasts at the SKU level
  • The candidates should be able to provide guidance and oversee SKU level forecasting and participate in process improvement initiatives and monitor new product launches and update
  • The candidates should be able to collect and integrate market information to produce operational forecasts
  • The candidates should be able to update and monitor process KPIs and diagnostics to ensure continuous improvement
  • The candidates should be able to prepare written analyses, documentation, reports, or other data requiring minimal supervision
