Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization:Â Interior design (general), architectural design, and commercial domain
Area of work experience: Interior components
Computer and technology knowledge:Â ARCHICAD, SolidWorks software, 20/20 design, 3D graphic software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, InDesign, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word and SketchUp
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, distinguish between colours, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, client-focused, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be flexible, take initiative, and be organized
- The candidates should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to estimate cost of projects, prepare detailed specifications, and work in a multidisciplinary environment
- The candidates should be able to create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes, read blueprints, schemas and drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
- The candidates should be able to consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space, develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures, and develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings
