Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift 33-55 lbs/15-25 kg regularly
- The candidates should be able to bend, squat, kneel, and stand throughout the day
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have an energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- The candidates should be team players
- The candidates should have the ability to work well under pressure
- The candidates should be detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- The candidates should be able to clean garbage cans
- The candidates should be able to maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
- The candidates should be able to place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- The candidates should be able to sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- The candidates should be able to sweep and scrub floors
- The candidates should be able to assist with loading and unloading trucks delivering or collecting food and supplies
- The candidates should be able to assist with receiving and storing supplies
- The candidates should be able to stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
