Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in employer’s/client’s home, and Private residence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset 
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking and comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and physically fit to manage demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and able to sit or stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

• The candidates should show flexibility in their work approach and be organized
• The candidates should exhibit reliability

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors proficiently and dust furniture diligently
• The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture thoroughly and make beds and change sheets efficiently
• The candidates should be able to stock the linen closet systematically and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances meticulously
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers promptly and launder clothing and household linens proficiently
• The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens as required and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties diligently
• The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings thoroughly and clean changing rooms and showers effectively
