Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks, combine sitting, standing, and walking, and bend, crouch, and kneel

Other Requirements:

The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be a team player

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products, and perform corrective machine adjustments
The candidates should be able to record production information, observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions, and make adjustments to process variables
The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas, and inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
The candidates should be able to maintain a shift log of production and other data, and set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
The candidates should be able to check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards, and clean and maintain equipment
The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and remove filled containers from conveyors
The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and bake mixed dough and batters
The candidates should be able to pack, weigh, and stack bound and finished products on pallets for shipment
