Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Experience with special needs children:Â Children who are blind or visually impaired, Children who are deaf or hard of hearing, Children with a mental health disability, Children with a physical disability, Children with an intellectual disability, Children with behavioural issues, Children with Down syndrome, Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD)
Credentials:Â Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks, handling physically demanding tasks, and demonstrating attention to detail while being comfortable with sitting, standing, and walking.
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, interpersonal awareness, good judgment, reliability, teamwork, values and ethics, creativity, honesty, and the ability to multitask
- The candidates should be punctuality, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, and engage them with stories, songs, and crafts
- The candidates should be able to guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and observe them for signs of learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations to early childhood educators, discuss children’s progress and issues at staff meetings, establish behavior guidelines, and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
