Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Technical Studies Diploma in industrial controls, instrumentation and control
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be available to work a daytime schedule, Monday to Friday
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation software and components, such as RS Logix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, and PanelBuilder
- The candidates should be curious and eager to understand and learn the ever-changing technologies in the plant
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to diagnose operating errors and faulty equipment, carrying out corrective actions to restore functionality
- The candidates should be able to maintain and repair industrial automation systems, including speed variators, vision systems, sensors, communication networks, control panels, and other control components and equipment
- The candidates should be able to program PLCs, speed variators, servomotors, and user interfaces (HMI)
- The candidates should be able to assist with major issues during remote connections with equipment manufacturers
- The candidates should be able to maintain and update diagrams and drawings when modifications are made
- The candidates should be able to develop an in-depth knowledge of the factory’s PLC programs
- The candidates should be able to become the expert and reference person for control systems in the factory
- The candidates should be able to perform all duties with diligence and careful attention to detail
