Salary: $18.50 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Kelowna, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Willing to travel and willing to travel regularly

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and bend, crouch and kneel
• The candidates should be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing and walking and work overtime
• The candidates should be able to sit and stand for extended periods and walk
• The candidates should be able to handle weights between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, focus on clients, and demonstrate dependability
• The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, be organized, and demonstrate reliability
• The candidates should work as a team player and uphold values and ethics

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors and dust furniture
• The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances and disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect elevators and handle and report lost and found items
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers and wash windows, walls and ceilings
• The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers
