Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of completed the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
Experience: Candidates should have experience in financial planning and investment sales

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be goal-oriented and entrepreneurial, able to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be a mutual funds certified professional with current accreditation and good standing for MFDA licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • The candidates should be knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support clients’ financial goals
  • The candidates should be able to apply natural curiosity to uncover and solve clients’ needs and deliver trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement planning
  • The candidates should be able to self-directed and performance-oriented, discovering clients’ needs, listening to understand their objectives, and providing customized financial strategies and solutions
  • The candidates should be able to highly engaged in educating clients, providing relevant insights, and offering expert advice
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate a collaborative approach when interacting with peers, clients, and partners
  • The candidates should be able to build relationships, focusing on providing an excellent client experience and growing long-standing relationships with existing clients
