Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Conventional oven, deep fryer, electronic cash register, and grill
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable standing for extended periods, while also being capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently and handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food accurately and neatly for customers, and portion and wrap foods according to established guidelines for presentation and hygiene
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items following standard procedures, while also serving customers at counters or buffet tables with courtesy and professionalism
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh items as required, and take customers’ orders accurately and efficiently to ensure prompt service
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely and hygienically, and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, following established protocols
- The candidates should be able to handle and store cleaning products properly and safely to maintain a clean and organized workspace, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas according to inventory procedures
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, while also sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit accurately and efficiently for food preparation
