Salary: $17.00 hourly for 14 to 35 hours per week + 2% commission per sale Minimum wage is guaranteed
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Mahone Bay, NS
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Own transportation

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

• The candidates should be able to demonstrate dependability and efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should be able to show flexibility and be organized
• The candidates should be able to display reliability and be a team player
• The candidates should be able to have excellent oral communication

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
• The candidates should be able to operate cash register
• The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise
• The candidates should be able to provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to assist in display of merchandise
• The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
• The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control
• The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
