Salary: $16.00 hourly for 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Kentville, NS
Shifts: Early Morning, 07:00 to 15:30
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is not available
Type of crops: Apples

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of work experience: Production

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, handle physically demanding tasks, have manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and distinguish between colors
The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, and crouch
The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be flexible, reliable, and a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch a high price in the market
The candidates should be able to clean the work area
