Best Western Hotel based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Housekeeper. Best Western Hotel specializes in sourcing, procuring, and distributing a wide range of food products to various businesses in the food industry. Our suppliers play a crucial role in the supply chain, connecting manufacturers, farmers, producers, and processors with retailers, restaurants, hotels, and other food service establishments. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- The candidates should be able to stock the linen closet, pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, dust furniture
- The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas, distribute clean towels and toiletries
- The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
- The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect elevators, clean changing rooms and showers, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
