Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Animal shelter and kennel
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.), exotic birds, and hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be attentive to detail and capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including handling heavy loads and weights exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel as required, work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, dependability, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, be flexible, and demonstrate good judgment
- The candidates should be reliable team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, shampoo, prepare food, and feed animals
- The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures
