Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Transportation information: Local, Vehicle supplied by employer and Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have experience or qualifications related to motor vehicles
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, tight deadlines and strong attention to detail

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a client-focused approach, efficient interpersonal skills and flexible
• The candidates should exercise good judgment, punctual, organized, reliable, team player, demonstrate initiative, accurate, excellent oral communication skills and dependable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service, receive and relay information to central dispatch and assemble, install, and set-up merchandise/products
• The candidates should be able to prepare, package, and restock goods, load and unload goods, use maps and other trip planning aids and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• The candidates should be able to keep a record of items received and delivered, deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand and provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to sort packages and follow directions and read maps
