Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 55 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Kentville, NS
Shifts: Weekend, Early Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer and valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck, tractor mower, and weed trimmer/edger
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, cellular phone, and rain gear
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads.
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should maintain attention to detail, be able to walk for extended periods, and be comfortable bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on client needs and dependable
- The candidates should be organized and reliable
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape construction, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, and cut grass
- The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to repair and maintain equipment, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
