Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of industry-related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to successfully pass the pre-employment qualifying exam, physical evaluation, and a security check
  • The candidates should be available to work nights, evenings, days, weekends, and holidays
  • The candidates should have the ability to pass and obtain an airside vehicle operator’s permit (mandatory)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have completed a recognized apprenticeship program and hold a valid Transport Canada AME-E license
  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and should possess a restricted radio operator’s permit
  • The candidates must obtain and maintain all applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations based on the work location, in line with Transport Canada requirements
  • The candidates should meet Air Canada’s medical standards, including passing a medical evaluation, drug and alcohol test, and be free from intoxicating substances
  • The candidates should be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time of the employment offer and bear the responsibility for securing any required work permits or visas

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate training requirements and conduct periodic reviews of training status, GMP issues, and non-conformance reports, recommending appropriate actions to the Resource Manager, Supply Chain
  • The candidates should be able to assist with the implementation of new projects and processes
  • The candidates should be able to periodically perform procedures to maintain technical competency and efficiency in training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to perform work in accordance with the provisions of Canadian Blood Services’ Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
