Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as Completion of bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of seven years of previous payroll services experience including two years of supervision and leadership experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have knowledge of operational management and leadership concepts and practices, including program/service delivery models, policy development, planning, budgeting, performance measurement management, and human resources
- The candidates should possess knowledge of payroll services program design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation methodologies, processes, and practices
- The candidates should demonstrate knowledge of relevant governing legislation, collective agreements, policies, and procedures
- The candidates should have knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
- The candidates should be familiar with office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
- The candidates’ knowledge will be used to lead the payroll services unit
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to oversee the day-to-day delivery of payroll services operations
- The candidates should be able to administer the payroll program and services
