- The candidates should be able to pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes
- The candidates should be able to ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, no damaged products and freshest product selection
- The candidates should be able to correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
- The candidates should be able to optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards
- The candidates should be able to balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction, including supporting issues to resolution
- The candidates should be able to ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean-up of all spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean and void of debris before packing; operate material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner, and complete all safety pre-inspection checks before use; exhibit behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values
- The candidates should be able to participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes related to operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in completing or adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules
