Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Customs services

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding work and demonstrate manual dexterity and maintain attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and manage a combination of sitting, standing, walking
• The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, kneeling and walk frequently
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be focused on clients, should be dependable, should have efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidate should be flexible, should have initiative, should have interpersonal awareness
• The candidate should have judgement, should be organized, should be reliable
• The candidate should be a team player, should have patience

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment and assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
• The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to personal care and supply and empty bed pans and take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• The candidates should be able to serve meal trays and feed patients and weigh, lift, turn and position patients and make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and groom patients and transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher and collect specimens
• The candidates should be able to co-ordinate in-house laundry services and bundle, label, bag and route mail into the proper delivery stream and assess patients’ physical abilities
• The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
