Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy in a courteous and professional manner
- The candidates should be able to practice within federal and provincial regulatory and legal requirements
- The candidates should be able to ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- The candidates should be able to provide counselling on prescriptions, as well as over-the-counter and behind-the-counter products
- The candidates should be able to practice to the full extent of their expanded scope with Professional Services, within their capability
- The candidates should be able to be clearly identifiable to the public as a pharmacy professional
- The candidates should be able to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed
- The candidates should be able to communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide effective customer care
- The candidates should be able to maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and organizational policy
