- The candidates should be able to provide therapeutic interventions that enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in various settings, including development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline
- The candidates should be able to offer a comprehensive range of services, including prevention, triage, screening, assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, treatment, management, education, consultation, fostering resourcefulness, case management, referral, and transition support to individuals, groups, populations, and communities
- The candidates should be able to involve clients and families as integral members of the healthcare team, promoting their active participation in all aspects of care
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with patients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies
- The candidates should be able to participate in various interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement efforts
- The candidates should be able to partner with healthcare providers, patients, families, and stakeholders to advance services and improve care for clients
- The candidates should be able to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and actively participate in their professional community
- The candidates should be able to engage in peer mentoring, supervise students, and provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants, Therapy Aides, and Provisional Physiotherapists
