Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have experience in planning, community engagement, graphics, and urban design
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adept at using social media and innovative online engagement tools
- The candidates should be able to work independently as well as part of interdisciplinary work teams, multi-task, and work within defined timelines, with initiative and enthusiasm for public engagement
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have supplemented by courses in urban planning, graphics, and related fields or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- The candidates should possess sound knowledge of civic sustainability, urban design, and community development issues
- The candidates should have a strong understanding of drafting, layout work, report design, reproduction, and graphical presentation of statistical data and planning projects
- The candidates should have sound knowledge of techniques and practices used in survey and statistical analysis work
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong cultural awareness of Indigenous and diverse cultural communities
- The candidates should be knowledgeable in executing comprehensive public and stakeholder engagement processes
- The candidates should have strong verbal, written, graphical, and visual presentation skills and demonstrate reporting, analytical, and evaluation skills
- The candidates should have strong computer and graphics skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and web page editing or equivalent applications
- The candidates should have the ability to build strong relationships with local residents and businesses and meet transportation requirements
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to research, collect data, and prepare analysis to support decision-making and recommendations
- The candidates should be able to conduct and compile policy research to aid in the planning process
- The candidates should be able to respond to public inquiries and track correspondence efficiently
- The candidates should be able to develop presentations and feedback materials for various engagement events and manage the distribution of support materials
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and moderate online content and tools such as forums, surveys, and podcasts
- The candidates should be able to organize public and supporting consultation processes, including booking venues, speakers, catering, and supplies, and oversee graphic design, material distribution, photography, and note-taking
- The candidates should be able to lead the report back of event outcomes, including timely input analysis, graphics, and web presence
- The candidates should be able to assist with Council reports, presentation boards, and related materials
