Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and Panjabi Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, and should possess hand-eye coordination
The candidates should be adept at handling heavy loads and able to manage a large workload, demonstrating proficiency in handling physically demanding tasks
The candidates should be willing to work overtime when required and able to work under pressure, while also being comfortable working in confined spaces and in wet/damp conditions

Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems, and install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems in domestic, commercial, or industrial settings
The candidates should be able to prepare tenders and quotations, locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings
The candidates should be able to join pipes using various methods, such as couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, and schedule personnel, tools, and equipment
The candidates should be able to test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and supervise other workers
The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, as well as measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
