Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Master’s degree in Applied Social Psychology and Health Services research
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of five years of evaluation experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have good judgment and an ability to build consensus among groups with differing priorities
- The candidates should have the ability to apply critical thinking throughout the evaluation process and outstanding time management and organizational skills
- The candidates should have the ability to function in high pressure, diverse, and changing environments
- The candidates should have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills and superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- The candidates should have experience collaborating with stakeholders within the health system and knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement
- The candidates should have experience with developing and implementing large scale evaluation projects
- The candidates should have experience in the application of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods, techniques, and analysis and experience preparing comprehensive evaluation reports
- The candidates should have experience in evaluating financial benefits from healthcare Quality Improvement (QI) and training in health economics evaluation
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support the provincial and zonal program evaluation requirements of the organization, working closely with leaders to undertake priority, strategically focused evaluation activities
- The candidates should be able to lead the planning and implementation of large-scale evaluations of provincial policies, programs, services, pilot projects, health transformation initiatives, and digital health solutions within the province’s health system
- The candidates should be able to design evaluation plans and frameworks, and provide methods and tools for evaluation and ongoing performance monitoring
- The candidates should be able to implement and monitor evaluation activities, identifying mitigating strategies as needed to ensure deliverables are completed as planned
- The candidates should be able to consult and advise provincial and regional partners on policy, program, and service issues, and present evaluation findings and recommendations to health system officials
